I know there are those that believe fiber is important for gut health. I haven’t found that to be true. For the last 4 years, I have been eating high protein, high fat & very low carbs. No sugar, vegetables, fruit, beans, nuts or seeds. I’ve never looked or felt better. No digestion problems or constipation. People are worried it is dangerous and that cholesterol would be high. My recent yearly lipids blood test shows my triglycerides level is 39 and HDL is 83. I had a CAC (coronary artery calcium) test a couple of years ago. My score was 0 (zero). I understand this way of eating isn’t for everyone. Maybe that is why fiber is important for the average American diet.
What's important is that you found what works best for you. That's my current goal. I can't seem to find the right balance. I enough protein and fiber but feel bad much of the time because I can't seem to combine the food so that it doesn't bother me (most of the time). I have three for four meals that work but I'm bored eating this way all the time which then leads to cravings and overeating at times if I go off the basic menu.
It may be worth talking with a registered dietitian or another qualified professional who can help you find more options that work for your body without feeling so limited.
Is this an actual print book or just digital via email? I only have my cell; no laptop so too hard to read/keep track if I can only see it on my phone.

Is there a print option?
Thank you,
Joan Stommen.
Hi Joan. For the moment there is only the digital option, but I’ll look to find more options
