I turned 75 in June. Started doing aerobics when I was 33. I still exercise every day. One class I take twice a week is 20 minutes cardio, 20 minutes strength training, and 20 minutes stretch and balance. 2-3 days a week are cardio and core strengthening classes. Nature walks on weekends. I used to get impatient when our grand dog stopped to sniff so much on our walks. Until I started doing tree pose, heel-toe balance or stretches during his stops. Dog walk yoga! Balance-wise, I strive for 30-40 seconds per leg. My record is 60 seconds. Some days are better than other days.

I am almost 72, I work with a trainer standing on one leg using 10 lb weights, 10 bicep curls and 10 shoulder presses on each leg. Anyone who is “older” can improve strength and balance! All about the abs!
