Water exercise classes - never done that - feels uncomfortable - but I’m gonna sign up & show up

I took a water exercise class a few years ago. I don’t know how to swim and am very non athletic. It was wonderful. A great work out and met nice people. I would do it again if I lived near a facility that offers it. Best wishes!

You’re right—I just didn’t imagine it would be this difficult. Thank you for your kind words. They really mean more than you know. It really is incredible how much energy we burn on worries that never even happen. And yet when you're in it, it feels so real. I'm trying to remind myself of that more often—just take it moment by moment.

If you're in your 70s, you may also remember Ram Dass and his Be Here Now. I was in my 20s then. Sure wasn't thinking that way then. Still not sure how long it took me to accept that idea

My parents are 78, I'm 46... and honestly, the older I get, the more I see the truth in what you’re saying. In my 20s I definitely thought I’d have everything figured out by now — turns out it's more about learning to be okay with not having it all figured out. That “be here now” mindset is still a work in progress, but it’s starting to make more sense.

Hey Angie! There are tons of guided meditations out there, depending on what you’re into—sleep, stress, focus, whatever. I personally use two apps I love: Insight Timer (it’s free and has everything) and Calm (good for sleep or daily mindfulness).
